Building some HTML pages and posting them is not very difficult, but crafting and maintaining a useful site requires knowledge and labor. Foresight and planning are keys to success. Awareness of current trends and tools helps ensure your information can be read by your audience.
This presentation provides some guidance for your planning process, makes recommendations to help you avoid some of the common pitfalls, and offers some tools to help ensure your site is one people will want to visit. Since it assumes you already have a working knowledge of the Web and HTML, it will cover some of the more advanced topics.
